Job Summary
• This role involves overseeing various aspects of deep water drilling operations, including reviewing and approving service scopes, technical specifications and cost estimates prior to tenders, providing expert recommendations on contractor and supplier selection, reviewing seminars, attending meetings with the Operator to discuss drilling aspects, assessing uncertainties and risks, analyzing offset well data, participating in internal quality assurance sessions and collaborating with cross-discipline experts to evaluate technical solutions throughout project stages

Required skills & experience
• Higher Technical education in drilling or oil and gas business
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant drilling engineering experience
• At least 10 years of senior drilling engineer experience on offshore projects, primarily with floating drilling
• Proficient in contracting, procurement, cost and AFE planning and optimization for deepwater projects
• Demonstrated proficiency in various deepwater drilling techniques and methodologies, including planning and executing offshore projects with semi-submersible rigs and drill ships
• Knowledge of casing string design principles and maximum load design cases for deepwater wells
• Willingness to undertake business travels and ability to travel offshore as required, including passing offshore safety training such as BOSIET/HUET.
