TFHO is a local Social Marketing Organisation that promotes healthier lives by providing quality health commodities.
TFHO currently focuses on socially marketed family planning commodities, Water Sanitation and Hygiene commodities, as well Maternal and Child Health commodities.
Background:
TFHO is a social marketing organization and network member of the Population Services International (PSI) global partnership. TFHO seeks a researcher to provide occasional support to the organization in assessing programmatic and marketing interventions. TFHO implements the USAID funded Ghana Social Marketing Project which goal is to support the Government of Ghana to improve the health status of its population through a variety of social marketing and behavior change communication interventions that can be sustained. TFHO is a subrecipient to PSI.
Scope of Work:
As a part of the GSMP, the researcher will support efforts to build the evidence base of what demand generation activities best change behavior and convince people to buy affordable health commodities. The researcher will lead both quantitative and qualitative research efforts. Research activities could include the design and implementation of studies such as facilitating Focus Group Discussions, in-depth interviews, desk research, surveys and pre/post testing. The researcher will need to be self-directed and at times will work with others.
Level of Effort:
This is an indefinite quantity contract that will remain open for one year. Specific Terms of Reference will be developed under this SOW. Overall the work will not exceed 75 days over the year.
Potential Deliverables:
Documented reports with quantitative and qualitative analysis of research studies
Documented recommendations based on findings from research
