2. Digital Payments: Small businesses are utilizing digital payments platform to receive payments from consumers in Ghana with mobile money service becoming an increasingly method used. This has made their cash flow better and minimized the threat with cash handling.

1. Lack of access to funding: Although most of the small businesses in Ghana find it challenging to receive funding to invest in technology. This can hinder their capacity to embrace new technologies, enhance their operations, and compete against larger businesses.
2. Low levels of digital literacy: Many small business operators are still not computer literates, making the adoption and use of technology difficult. This may hinder their capacity to utilize digital channels, control their online identity, and connect with customers.”
3. Infrastructure Gaps: Limited access to reliable electricity, internet connectivity, and transportation represents infrastructure challenges that can curtail the adoption of technology by small businesses in Ghana.
